MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FOUNDATIONS

 

In today’s blog post I decided to share with you my favorite foundations and give you a review on each one of them.

My complexion is oily and prone to blemishes so I always struggled with finding the perfect foundation for my skin. I live in Dubai , a city that has all year round high temperatures and especially now in the summer months keeping a foundation on your skin is a big challenge.

Since we are in the summer season let’s start first with my two favorite foundations for summer. In the warm months I usually like a light foundation that gives me a natural finish.

CHANEL PERFECTION LUMIERE

I think perfection lumiere is a very good foundation for oily skin since it gives you a matte finish. It has a medium coverage and it blends nicely into your skin giving you the illusion that you are not wearing any foundation at all and it feels more like a second layer of skin.

The foundation can last up to 8 hours on your skin but I am not going to lie it does crease sometimes especially if you are outdoors where is very hot and humid. Perfection lumiere has as well SPF 10 and is always good to protect your skin from the sunlight.

ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION

The luminous silk foundation is so popular I think most of you have tried it already. As the name says , this is a silk foundation and it gives you this weightless feeling leaving your skin so silky and soft. It is the perfect summer foundation and it gives you that natural summery glow.

The coverage is medium and it lasts me usually up to 6-8 hours without creasing on my T zone.

 

For the colder season I prefer a full coverage foundation that can last me all day and cover all my imperfections.

LANCOME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR

The Teint Idole Ultra Wear  foundation is honestly the best foundation if you are looking for a long wearing , full coverage foundation.

It is oil free and is perfect for an oily complexion since it is also absorbing the oil from your T zone and it gives you a matte velvety finish.

I absolutely love wearing this foundation in the colder months or just in the evening if I have a special event where I want my skin to look flawless.

ARMANI POWER FABRIC FOUNDATION

The power fabric is as well a long wearing foundation and unlike the luminous silk this one gives you a matte finish and full coverage but it feels really light on your skin.

The foundation lasts on my skin up to 8 hours and I absolutely love the coverage that it gives you. It has as well SPF 25 so is great to wear it during the day when you are constantly exposed to sunlight.
